The Cherasco Markets have been for forty years an unmissable event for thousands of collectors and enthusiasts, both Italian and foreign, who return each year to this little town called Urbs firmissima pacis to meet quality antiques and the most sought-after collectibles.
The Cherasco antiques market is now a well-established event, capable of transforming the historic centre into a true open-air museum. For the occasion, the town streets become completely pedestrian and fill up with stalls and stands, animated by hundred of exhibitors from all over.
Among the orderly grid of streets, framed by elegant ancient mansions, seventeenth-century churches, medieval towers and charming little squares you can breathe in an old-time atmosphere. The objects on display range from antique furniture to vintage prints, from books to fabrics, from work tools to vinyl records without forgetting vintage clothes and retro curiosities.
Strolling among the stalls is like taking a journey into memory: among dishes and furnishings that recall those of the houses of the past, it is easy to be fascinated by unique and unexpected pieces, capable of telling forgotten stories or inspiring new collections.
